Remember to Vote: Message from Patagonia

A ten year old green company w. still a promising future, Patagonia reminds all of us to vote on November 7th.

Vote the EnvironmentWhat does your vote on November 7th mean? It could mean the difference between a protected Arctic for those that depend on it, or a Refuge opened to an oil industry that could gain from it. It could mean new protections for ocean ecosystems, or more pollution and overfishing. Your vote could keep your favorite stretch of river, backcountry climbing crag or secret camping spot just as you love it today, or make them vulnerable to logging, drilling and other destructive activities.

Our world stands on a tipping point. Decisions made today about renewable energy, ocean protection, public lands and more will determine the future health of our planet and significantly affect the wild places we play in and the sports we love. Next Tuesday, your vote will decide which path we follow.

Nearly 130 critical Governor, Senate and House of Representatives seats, not to mention countless state and local races, hang in the balance. Each one will help chart our future course. Be sure to know your candidates' environmental voting records before going to the polls, and then get out and Vote the Environment next Tuesday, November 7th.
